My Baby Hudson turned ONE!!

My baby is getting SO BIG!!

Mr. Hudson turned ONE on March 7th. I can't believe how fast he has grown up! He is such a funny little guy. He has been a bit crankier and A LOT pickier than Preston, but he still seems to always have that handsome little smile on his face! We are so thankful for this little guy! His dimpled-smile just melts my heart. We love you Peanut!

Some fun times with Marimom and Poppy at Hudson's birthday party.

Preston loves to have picnics! Now that it's finally getting warm, we can have one everyday!

Oh how we missed you sun! So glad you decided to come back. Please stay!

More posts to come...soon. I promise it won't be a month before I post again.

Where to Begin....

I know, I know... I keep doing this. Once again this will be a long post.  LOTS of pictures, short captions. It will probably bore most of you, but that's okay cause my mom will love it!

Hudson is walking around everything lately but isn't quite brave enough to let go...I give it a few more days.
Preston has been helping Daddy a lot lately downstairs in the basement, but he MUST have his own tools and toolbox...it's been so fun to watch him copy Daddy's every moves!

 Valentine's Day Cookies

Our first time at Jump-On-It. A place full of trampolines and a couple inflatable slides. Preston and his buddies had lots of fun! Thanks Jana for going with us!

Just some pictures of my Handsome Peanut!

YAY! No more diapers...well for one of my kiddos! Preston has done so good with Potty Training. I kinda had given up, but one night Daddy decided to put Preston in underwear for a couple hours and from then on that's all he wears! I'm so proud of Preston, he has done so good and rarely has an accident. He loves choosing his underwear everyday and now recently loves to pick out his own clothes too. His most favorite 'unders' are 'wooey and buzz'. My sister sent him the cutest pirate potty book that came with a pirate hat. Thanks Aunt Wee Wee!

Preston really isn't the best at letting me take pictures of him, but he sure LOVES to take pictures by himself. These are just a few...

Preston has been dying to play outside, but the dang sun just isn't ever out long enough. The other day he was able to play on the deck for about an hour with just a bucket of dirt and a shovel. And he wore his Awesome new boots, which he LOVES!

Brotherly Love....sometimes....

I bought some water colors to give Preston and I an activity to do during the day. He had so much fun and loved to 'baint'. Except he just wanted mommy to paint a picture of daddy about 10 times.

One morning I told Preston to go get some clothes and he came back with a Cars shirt and some jeans. I was in the process of getting dressed when he came back and he saw that I was putting on my Nauvoo sweatshirt and said, "oh, mommy back" and ran out of the room. He came back with his Nauvoo shirt and said  "Mommy, me, same".  I thought it was so cute that remembered about his shirt and wanted to match Mommy!

Can you find Preston? This is how he was when I came to check on him before I went to bed. Poor guy, he falls off his bed all the time and then just stays there, no matter how uncomfortable it looks.

More playing outside...

Playing in the snow in March. It had been so nice for a few days and then all the sudden we woke up to this.

Christmas Time

We made our first Gingerbread House with an awesome kit from Costco! I'm glad it came with LOTS of candy, because Preston pretty much just sat there and ate candy the whole time...oh and the green frosting (thanks to his cousin Jennifer who sat there and squirt it in his mouth and on his finger for about 20 mins until it was gone).

Our Christmas was a fun one this year! As the boys get older, it gets more fun! Gentri and Harlee were at their Mom's Christmas morning, so Santa just came for the boys this year. Preston got lots of tools and a tool bench and Hudson got a little bath boat with cute little water animals. Although, Preston thought Poppy brought him all his cool toys, because Poppy got here before Preston even woke up. Mommy got a gorgeous pearl necklace and Daddy got a new quilt (and he also bought himself lots of tractor parts). Harlee and Gentri got a fun "day after Christmas" shopping spree (that's what they wanted). So, the day after we had an all day shopping event at the mall and the girls got lots of cute things for good deals! Thanks to Aunt Heather who watched the boys all day!! I love Christmas time and get SO excited for it, and then I'm so sad at about noon when it's all over....already looking forward to this year!

Oh, and don't worry if my blog layout stays like this for awhile...I'm kinda too lazy to make a new one.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

(sorry, you will have to click on the picture to read the words)
So, we actually decorated the house for Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but yes...I am barely posting now. I LOVE LOVE Christmas time and decorating my house. My most favorite thing is the Christmas tree...I love to just sit and look at it at night when the lights are on! Harlee helped decorate the house and then Gentri and Preston joined in to help decorate the tree. Gentri wasn't really in the mood to decorate, so she said she would just be the "hooker"...then a minute or so later she said, "I mean the person who will put the hooks on the ornaments." Haha...silly girl.
Oh yeah, my other favorite thing is wrapping presents! I would seriously start a gift wrapping business. Last year I told Ryan I wanted to go get a job at the mall at the little gift wrapping booth during the Holidays, and I still want to. If anyone doesn't want to wrap their gifts, bring them my way! So...yes my tree already has wrapped gifts under it, I love the way it looks! And I feel that if I wait 'til the last minute to wrap them, then it's a waste of wrapping paper. Now lets just see how it goes with having 2 little boys around...so far so good, no unwrapped gifts yet.

Some big news....Preston is in a "big boy" bed. It's still just a toddler bed, but he loves it! He doesn't like going to bed at night, but he does like his bed. He was so excited when Daddy was putting it together. He ran downstairs to get his blanket and came back up to his bed and just sat there...laid down...sat up again...stood up...laid back down, just checkin' it out I guess. Every now and then he will disappear and I will come up to his room and he is just sitting there with his feet dangling off the edge, just lookin' around or looking at a book. It's so cute! He is really good about staying in his bed and not getting out, he actually hasn't tried. Even when he wakes up he calls for me. Now if we could just get him to want to go to bed at night...

And now just some cute pictures of the boys in their matching jammies...so cute and cuddly!

And another random collage of my kiddos...

Finally...The End
